Senior Transshipment Specialist

• **The role**:You will be working directly with the Commercial Teams on logistics projects from concept through execution, implementation, and operation.
• You will have a key role in building this new business in NORDEN.
• Your primary focus will be to design the right transshipment solution to the client in cooperation with the Commercial Team based on thorough analysis of the supply chain scope.
• You will work proactively to find the best solution which will provide the expected savings for the client in terms of minimizing operating cost and reducing carbon emissions.
• **Tasks include**:- Overseeing feasibility studies- Evaluating different solutions based on client needs- Participating in negotiations with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders- Evaluating different types of equipment and procuring the required equipment- Working with engineering teams to review changes to existing equipment and designs for newbuilding projects- Implementing projects from design through operational phases- Traveling to project sites and Norden Offices to be expected**Competences and core qualifications**- Education as Marine Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or Marine Architect / Alternatively Master Mariner with relevant technical experience- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in design, construction, and operation of transshipment systems, ideally as part of dry cargo freight solutions- You can combine theory and practice- You are solution oriented with a commercial understanding- You are team player who enjoys sharing and solving challenges in a team- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Spanish or French are a plus).
