Manager, Finance

• Financial Reporting & Analysis:Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunitiesBudgeting & Forecasting:Support the preparation and monitoring of budgets and forecasts.
• Collaborate with business units to ensure alignment with financial goals.
• Internal Controls & Compliance:Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Accounts Management:Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger reconciliation processes.
• Work closely with outsourced accountants (if applicable) to ensure accurate financial records, and working towards setting up a finance team to replace outsourced accountantsProcess Improvement:Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance financial processes.
• Implement best practices for efficiency and accuracy in reporting.
• Team SupportStep into the Finance Manager''s role during absences or as needed.
• Preferred Experience5+ years of experience in financial management or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial regulations, and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial modeling.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Personal AttributesHigh level of integrity and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (English and Portuguese)Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proactive and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Education and Key certifications necessaryBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
