- Experience in media relations and a strong network of media and influencer contacts in tech, policy, environment and sustainability spaces.
- Proficiency in English and Portuguese.
- Ability to travel up to 30%.
- Strong relationships with media and influencers in technology and policy, with a proven track record of developing and placing impactful stories.
- Experience delivering creative corporate PR strategies that drive meaningful outcomes.
- Ability to develop and deliver effective communications that demonstrate a clear understanding of the diverse needs of different audiences.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, simplify, and manage multiple projects and programs simultaneously.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling story pitches and creative concepts that make complex topics accessible.
- Ability to quickly analyze media coverage and sentiment, anticipate emerging issues, and apply insights to inform team strategy.
- Self-starter with a strategic mentality, creativity, and critical thinking skills; demonstrates resilience when managing complexity and ambiguity and works cross-functionally with integrity.
- Skilled at multitasking, meeting tight deadlines, and adapting to change.
