
Senior DevOps Engineer - Site Reliability Operations team

- Provide end-to-end technical support and operational ownership for the Ariba product suite within a Unix-based environment
- Collaborate closely with engineering subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and support ongoing initiatives
- Automate manual and repetitive operational tasks to enhance system efficiency, reduce errors, and scale key processes
- Lead and contribute to complex projects involving multiple teams, ensuring timely delivery and technical excellence
- Monitor and analyze application performance using tools such as Datadog, Dynatrace, and Splunk to ensure system reliability and user experience
- Provision and manage public cloud infrastructure, with a focus on GCP (preferred) or AWS, using infrastructure-as-code best practices
- Leverage cloud provisioning tools like Terraform for scalable and consistent environment deployment
- Work with CI/CD and DevOps toolchains including Jenkins, Artifactory, Docker, and Vault to support build, deployment, and configuration workflows
- Assist with Kubernetes-based deployments and container orchestration at a basic level
- Provide basic support for SAP HANA database administration in coordination with database teams
- Proactively contribute to improving system observability, operational resilience, and technical documentation
- Strong experience working in a Unix/Linux environment
- Experience of hands-on Java web application development experience
- Strong understanding of operating system internals, file system structures, and machine-level operations
- Experience working in a 24x7 enterprise production environment
- Proven experience provisioning and managing public cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, preferably Terraform
- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, Docker, and Vault
- Basic knowledge of SAP HANA database administration
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with mature development and operational practices
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills
- Highly reliable and dependable, with the ability to multitask and manage responsibilities across various technical areas
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience
