- Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budget constraints.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects simultaneously, maintaining quality and meeting deadlines across all engagements.
- Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate project risks and blockers, maintaining a live risk log and escalating issues with recommended solutions.
- Manage vendor and third-party relationships relevant to project delivery, including tracking SLAs and delivery commitments.
- Apply Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies to manage project workflows, maintain healthy backlogs, and ensure timely, iterative delivery of software solutions.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives) ensuring actionable outcomes from each session.
- Own billing, time tracking, and budget management across projects, including forecasting and variance analysis.
- Plan and optimize resource allocation to ensure the right people are on the right tasks at the right time.
- Lead and support cross-functional teams through performance coaching, clear communication, and structured problem-solving, fostering a high-accountability culture.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation: timelines, risk registers, status reports, RACI matrices, and resource allocation plans.
- Communicate clear project updates, escalations, and strategic insights to senior management and stakeholders using structured reporting cadences.
- Leverage AI tools, such as Claude, ChatGPT, Notion AI, and Jira automation, to improve delivery efficiency, generate status reports, assist in documentation drafting, and identify project risks proactively.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing software development projects across the full SDLC.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a bias for action.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA and Notion for project tracking and documentation.
- Demonstrated use of AI productivity tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Notion AI, Copilot) in a professional project delivery context.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while consistently meeting deadlines.
- Professional English proficiency (C1/C2)
- Based in Latin America.
- Previous experience as a Software Developer, Technical Lead, enables tighter collaboration with engineering teams and more accurate technical scoping.
- Hands-on familiarity with software development workflows: version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, API concepts, or sprint-level technical reviews.
- Experience delivering AI, ML, or data-driven software projects, a meaningful advantage given Azumo's specialization.
- Familiarity with prompt engineering applied to documentation, reporting, or team productivity workflows.
