- Evaluate end-to-end customer journeys and shopping experiences across our e-commerce sites from a marketing effectiveness standpoint.
- Assess whether:
- Homepage banners and campaign placements are clear and aligned with active initiatives.
- Promotions, pricing messages, and loyalty benefits are visible and easy to understand.
- Sign-up flows (email, loyalty, ELITE) function correctly and are placed appropriately.
- Identify friction points, inconsistencies, or gaps between marketing messaging and on-site experience.
- Lead marketing-led website audits for new site launches, redesigns, and major updates, documenting findings, and recommendations.
- Conduct ongoing competitor research across accessories, CBD, and cannabis retail markets.
- Benchmark competitor sites from a marketing perspective, including:
- Homepage hierarchy and campaign messaging
- Merchandising and promotional strategies
- Loyalty positioning and sign-up visibility
- Shopping and discovery experience
- Identify trends, gaps, and best practices, translating findings into clear marketing recommendations for our sites and campaigns.
- Coordinate cross-functional digital marketing campaigns from brief through launch.
- Manage homepage banners, promotional placements, and on-site campaign execution via dev requests & ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Review and QA Figma files prior to development hand-off.
- Submit, track, and validate web development tickets; audit site changes post-launch.
- Lead research for new website initiatives to identify optimal marketing features and coordinating closely with UX writers and designers to translate insights into execution.
- Act as the marketing quality control point for digital execution, ensuring approved messaging, offers, and positioning are reflected accurately across website and paid media.
- Review and provide feedback on paid ad copy and creative prior to launch to ensure clarity, accuracy, compliance, and alignment with campaign strategy.
- Proactively flag and resolve messaging gaps, inconsistencies, or execution risks before campaigns go live.
- Support paid ad initiatives by providing creative and messaging briefs to copywriters.
- Monitor and review paid campaign performance post-launch.
- Analyze results to identify:
- Creative and messaging effectiveness
- Offer and landing page alignment
- Opportunities for refinement or improvement
- Brief content writers and creative teams on performance insights and required adjustments for upcoming campaigns.
- Own monthly digital KPI recap decks covering:
- Campaign and paid media results
- Loyalty and promotional initiatives tied to digital channels
- Synthesize data into clear, executive-ready insights that explain:
- What worked
- What didn’t
- Why
- What should change going forward
- Partner with Analytics and channel owners as needed, while owning interpretation and recommendations.
- Coordinate the planning, execution, and rollout of customer surveys across brands.
- Analyze survey results in depth to uncover:
- Customer sentiment and recurring themes
- Feedback related to shopping experience and marketing clarity
- Opportunities to improve messaging, offers, and journey flow
- Translate survey insights into actionable recommendations and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Support loyalty initiatives (Cabana Club, ELITE) by reviewing performance, benchmarking competitors, and identifying opportunities for improved visibility and engagement.
- Collaborate with Email Marketing on loyalty flows, segmentation ideas, and re-engagement strategies informed by:
- Website behavior
- Paid campaign learnings
- Survey feedback
- 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, or DTC.
- Experience evaluating customer journeys and shopping experiences from a marketing standpoint.
- Strong experience conducting competitor research and turning insights into recommendations.
- Comfortable analyzing campaign and paid performance and briefing creative teams.
- Experience preparing monthly KPI reports or performance summaries.
- Strong project management and cross-functional communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong written English.
- Shopify or other e-commerce platform experience (required).
- Marketing automation or email platforms (bonus).
- Loyalty or retention programs (bonus).
- Promotional strategy experience.
- Work across a portfolio of global, category-leading brands.
- Own meaningful marketing insights that directly influence site and campaign decisions.
- Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across Marketing and Digital.
