Our cloud service must be extremely reliable and run our customers’ shop floor operations with high performance in discrete and process manufacturing industries around the world.SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) is used by more than 1000 customers globally across 24 industries as the primary supply chain planning application. Key business processes supported include Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, Sales and Operations Planning, along with others.As a Product & Engineering Solution Architect who is part of our SAP S/4HANA Product Experience - Cloud ERP Product Success team, you will transform our market and accelerate our momentum for our Cloud products.Our team is responsible for the execution of our strategy, scope and the product experience for SCM SAP Digital Manufacturing. We focus on unlocking the right capabilities of our digital core with the needed focus to scale the business.You will have impact and contact by bridging between our customer demand, our sales priorities and our product definition and development units. Customer adoption for SCM SAP Digital Manufacturing and SAP IBP with the rollout of new functionality will be an important part of your daily role.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESYou will collaborate with our customers, Implementation Partners, Field Sales, Field Services, Product Teams, Support Teams, and Development Teams across SAP to:
  • Keep track of your customer engagements and work with Customers and Services to assess and prioritize requests during the implementation of SAP Digital Manufacturing Dispatching & Execution and SAP IBP in the Americas Region, focusing on the Latin America countries.
  • Increase the success of SAP’s market-leading cloud-based manufacturing solution by providing powerful automation capabilities easy to configure, deploy and monitor across different manufacturing sites.
  • You will be working with your empowered product team to discover and deliver delighting innovations based on opportunities and problems to be solved, defined by the overall product vision and strategy. With a data-driven approach you can manage, and increment features delivered to drive adoption within the customer base.
  • Manage (understand, analyze and categorize) individual customer demand for the of SAP Digital Manufacturing Dispatching & Execution and SAP IBP in a regional setup, assuring one face to the customer from Product Success and Product Experience.
  • Work with Product and Development teams to compile SAP’s product roadmap based on customer feedback.
  • Be the voice of the product for Customers, Sales and Presales by advocating solution readiness and innovations to drive adoption of SAP Digital Manufacturing Dispatching & Execution and SAP IBP.
  • Prepare and conduct expert testing on planned and future functionality of SAP Digital Manufacturing Dispatching & Execution along with cross-functional products that will deliver the SAP Intelligent Enterprise Suite.
Your impact and support of our deliverables on the strategy of our innovations will be key via:
  • Experience in working with clients in analyzing and transferring market and client demand directly into the Product Management/Development teams (functional specification, co-innovation, etc.).
  • Excellent ability to liaise with the different internal organizations (Development, Preferred success organization, Customer first organization, Field, etc.), becoming a key counterpart for stakeholders in Product Management / Development organization.
  • Outstanding project management skills to align with the respective areas and drive projects successfully along tight deadlines.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science or Business Administration (Engineering) or comparable education required.
  • Relevant experience in software innovation projects, product management, support and customer facing roles (e.g. Functional consultant, solution architect, support, presales).
  • Strong experience in professional software development. Relevant working experience in the SAP environment.
  • Domain knowledge in manufacturing, planning, and/or logistics combined with strong analytical skills and technical expertise of SAP BTP based cloud solutions.
  • Domain knowledge in supply chain planning processes
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders from cross functional teams in multiple regions/time zones.
  • Ability to distill technical information fast and prepare stakeholder specific content out of it, with the business outcome in mind and customer focus; ability to simplify complex information.
  • Experience in product definition (ideally close to a Product Owner role), alternatively: Proven track record in or on collaboration with Product Development and/or Product Management and/or Solution Management
  • Excellent communication and language skills in Portuguese, Spanish and English (spoken and written)
  • Strong interpersonal, coordination, communication and presentation skills.
Preferred skills
  • Deep understanding of the Cloud architecture and SaaS model.
  • Experience as a Subject Matter Expert in a functional area like Logistics or Manufacturing is a plus.
  • MBA or master’s degree in related field is desired.
  • Design thinking expertise welcome but not mandatory.
  • Good knowledge of Cloud principles
  • Activate Methodology is a plus
  • ERP Business Processes Knowledge
  • Experience in co-innovation processes would be a plus
