This position focuses on ensuring safe, compliant, and reliable operations of subsea systems through effective inspection, maintenance, and repair (IMR) strategies.What you’ll be doingLead planning and execution of all subsea non-rig interventions and support rig-based operations (e.g., MOBO campaigns, completions, workovers, etc).Troubleshoot subsea system failures and support root cause analysis.Develop and execute intervention procedures and preparedness plans.Manage mobilization and logistics for offshore campaigns.Oversee maintenance and readiness of subsea spares and tooling, including intervention-critical equipment.Maintain systems for tracking the location, condition, and status of all subsea assets.Support budget management and procurement processes for aftermarket contracts.Coordinate repair, modification, and upgrade activities at the vendor and Shell sitesWhat you bringMust have legal authorization to work in Brazil on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employerBachelor’s degree in engineering (preferred: Subsea, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering).Minimum 10 years of experience in subsea activities, including offshore operations, FAT/SIT, troubleshooting, and PSM activities.Proven experience in subsea intervention planning and execution.Strong procedural writing and process safety management skills.Effective communicator and team player, able to work across functions (R&D, Projects, Operations).Flexible and responsive to dynamic business needs.Core Competencies:Subsea Hardware ExpertiseSubsea Intervention PlanningProcedure Development & Process SafetyProject ManagementMaterials & Spare Parts ManagementContract & Vendor ManagementWhat we offerYou bring your skills and experience to Shell and in return you work with talented, committed people on one of the most important challenges facing our planet.
