Campari Group is today the sixth-largest player worldwide in the premium spirits industry.General Description of the RoleThis position is functionally responsible for IT South America focusing on Finance and Tax localization:This role serves as the key IT liaison for Finance teams. It ensures alignment between business needs and technology solutions, particularly for tax / localization processes and compliance with upcoming like tax reform regulations. The position will primarily support Brazil but also collaborate with teams in Argentina, Peru, and Mexico.Key Responsibilities and Activities
- Lead and support initiatives related to finance / tax localization, ensuring legal compliance and corporate standard adherence.
- Support projects and activities related to Brazilian tax reform (e.g., CBS, IBS), including impact analysis and system/process alignment, mainly in this moment.
- Effectively advocate for the South America Region finance requirements with the Global IT teams and ensure accurate planning of activities;
- Assess the availability of global IT finance options (applications and/or service) vs. local IT options (applications and/or service), ensuring compliance to Global IT processes and governance standards;
- Champion the roll-out of global finance applications to meet local needs; With regard to Global Projects, act as the liaison to prevent roadblocks or issues affecting the delivery of approved projects.
- Ensure the effective application of the Global IT governance process in the South America Region;
- Ensure a proper local business needs collection process and maintain constant communication with Campari Group IT, supporting the demand of the region;
- Act as IT liaison for the Finance / Tax regional departments.
- Execute Local Finance / tax IT project
- Support project management activities associated with Finance / Tax Regional/Global project implementations
- Assure the compliance of the local financial regulation with procurement, inventory, sales and GBS processes
- Lead the vendor deliverables
- Highlight the project risks and work at their mitigation together with the vendors
- Bachelor's Degree
- SAP courses
- +5 Years work experience in IT, at least 2 years working closely with business areas (Sr. systems analyst, Sr. functional consultant, Sr. IT analyst SAP, etc.)
- Preferably previous experience as an IT Business Partner.
- Good understanding of end-to-end Finance / Tax processes
- Project management/leadership and business transformation experience
- Experience in process development & continuous improvement,
- Hands-on experience with SAP (FI or SD or MM localization)
- Ability to engage & influence key stakeholders and able to work in a multicultural, matrix structure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and out of the box thinking.
- Ability to anticipate risks or opportunities.
- Fluent verbal and strong written communication skills in English and Portuguese, Spanish is a plus.
- Personal maturity and tact to effectively work cross-functionally to deliver results through others.
